Zoryve (roflumilast) description
Zoryve (roflumilast) is a topical cream used to treat plaque psoriasis in adults and children 12 years of age and older. It works by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), which plays a role in inflammation.
Zoryve (roflumilast) uses
Zoryve is used to treat plaque psoriasis, which is the most common type of psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis causes red, raised patches of skin covered with silvery scales. These patches can appear anywhere on the body, but they are most often found on the elbows, knees, scalp, and back.
Zoryve (roflumilast) storage conditions
Zoryve should be stored at room temperature (68°F to 77°F) away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep Zoryve out of the reach of children and pets.
Zoryve (roflumilast) mechanism of action
Zoryve works by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4). PDE4 is involved in the production of inflammatory chemicals, such as cytokines. By blocking PDE4, Zoryve reduces inflammation and helps to improve the appearance of psoriasis.
